【摘要】:Illuminationofaswitchorofcertainfeaturesofaswitchoftenhasafunctionalpurposeandmustmeetspecificationtosatisfythefunctionalrequirementsoftheswitch.Illuminationoftheswitchcanbeaffectedbyvariationsinthequalityanddesignoftheoverlayanditsapplication.Thistestmethodaddressesonlytheopticalandvisualappearanceoftheswitchandnotitselectricalfunction.Thistestmethodisnon-destructive.Ifthistestmethodisappliedtotheentireswitchassembly,theresultscanbeappliedtothewholedevice.However,itmaybesufficientandpracticaltoapplythetesteithertoasubassemblyonly,ortotheilluminationlayeronly,inwhichcasetheresultsapplytothatlayeronlyandtheneteffectonthefullyassembleddevicemustbecalculated,extrapolated,orotherwiseinferred.1.1Thistestmethodcoversproceduresfordeterminingtheluminanceofabacklitmembraneswitch.Aswritten,itappliestoafullyassembledswitch.Forspecificpurposes,itcanbeappliedtopartiallyassembledswitcheswiththeunderstandingthattheresultspertainonlytothepartialassemblyandwillbemodifiedasthefurtherassemblyproceeds.
