【摘要】:Thewashtestgivesarapidandsimpleevaluationofthefinescontent.Theequipmentrequiredandthetechniquefollowedarebothsimpleandundemanding.ThefinescontentobtainedbythistestmethodapproximatestheequivalentscreenclassificationobtainedbyTestMethodsC1121andD2589.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstheprocedurefordeterminingthefinescontentofasbestosfibersbywashingwithwateronaspecifiedsieve.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Warning-Breathingofasbestosdustishazardous.Asbestosandasbestosproductspresentdemonstratedhealthrisksforusersandforthosewithwhomtheycomeintocontact.Inadditiontootherprecautions,whenworkingwithasbestos-cementproducts,minimizethedustthatresults.Forinformationonthesafeuseofchrysoltileasbestos,referto"SafeUseofChrysotileAsbestos:AManualonPreventiveandControlMeasures."Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Foraspecifichazardswarning,see.
