【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesthreeproceduresforestimating,andrulesforexpressing,theaveragegrainsizeofcopperandcopperalloysconsistingprincipallyofasinglephase.Therespectiveproceduresaretermedthecomparisonprocedure,theinterceptprocedureandtheplanimetricpro-cedure.Thecomparisonprocedure(comparingthespecimenwithastandardchart)ismostconvenientandissufficientlyaccurateformostcommercialpurposes.Higherdegreeesofaccuracyinestimatinggrainsizeareob-tainablebyusingtheintercept(Heyn)orplanimetric(Jeffries)procedures.Incasesofdispute,itisrecommendedthattheuseofoneoftheseproceduresbeagreedbetweentheparties.Formaterialwithnon-equiaxialstructuresitisrecommendedthattheinterceptprocedurebeused.

【摘要】:Themagnitudeofthechangesintheelectricalpropertiesofthesiliconefluidisofimportanceindeterminingthecontaminationofthefluidbythetestspecimen.Physicalandchemicalchangesinthefluid,suchascolorandacidity,alsoindicatesolubilityorotheradverseeffectsofthetestspecimenonthefluid.Physicalchangesofthetestspecimen,suchashardness,swelling,anddiscoloration,showtheeffectofthefluidonthetestspecimenandareusedtodeterminethesuitabilityofthematerialforuseinsiliconefluid.Amaterialmeetingthecriteriarecommendeddoesnotnecessarilyindicatesuitabilityforuseinelectricalequipment.Otherpropertiesmustalsobeconsidered.Additionally,certainmaterialscontainingadditivesmaymeettherequirementsofthesetestmethodsyetbeunsatisfactorywhensubjectedtolonger-termevaluations.Thesetestmethodsmaybeusedasaguidefortestingthecompatibilityofmaterialsforsiliconefluidsotherthan50cStpoly-dimethylsiloxanefluid,butdifferentcriteriaforjudgmentmaybenecessary.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverscreeningforthecompatibilityofconstructionmaterialswithsiliconefluidforuseinelectricalequipment.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
